Creek Daze 3.0
When: August 13 - 16
Where: New Castle, VA
Join us for our 3rd annual Creek Daze, a summer time camping and wheeling adventure celebrating all Toyota and Lexus 4x4s!
Please note that there are a few changes this year, all for the better!
We are offering a Virginia Overland Experience (caped at 12), led by Thomas Johnson. Starting Thursday the 13th at 9am, the group will begin a multi day/night adventure hitting trails such as Enchanted Creek, Big Levels/Bald Mountain, Union Springs, Flagpole Knob, Reddish Knob, Pads Creek, as well as the option to run Potts Mountain as the last trail with the main group Saturday the 15th! Camping will be dispersed along the route with fuel points along the way. All road miles are on back roads, providing a scenic ride between trails. Food will not be provided on overland Experience.
For those wanting a weekend get away, you can show up Friday the 14th to camp. For the first time this year, our base camp will be at Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing, just a few minutes from where we have traditionally held it.
Friday will be a check in/get settled, socialize day with the next day, Saturday, being a trail day. For those not comfortable doing Potts, an easier trail will be provided. And for those wanting to relax and stay at camp, by all means, do so!
Wilderness Adventure offers a lot activities onsite, Disc golf, kayaking, Tube floating ect.
We will gather back at camp Saturday evening for a taco dinner cooked by SCLC officers, followed by a small raffle.
Sunday is clean up and wheels up!

Please note that the Virginia Overland Experience will NOT meet up at Wilderness Adventure, but will meet up at our private land just down the road. The location will be provided to those selecting the multi day experience. Food will not be provided on this so please plan accordingly.
